Marci Shoff
Marci M. Shoff grew up in Morton, IL.

After graduating from Morton High School, Marci obtained a B.A. in Finance at the University of Illinois, magna cum laude, and then a Juris Doctor at the University of Illinois College of Law, cum laude. She knew she wanted to return to the Peoria area and spent a summer clerking at HRBK during law school. She joined the firm as an associate in September 2002 and became a partner in 2014.

Marci is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Tax Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois. Marci concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and probate administration (including estate and probate-related litigation and taxation), guardianships, real estate transactions and corporate law. In 2005, Marci was named as the Peoria County Bar Association’s Pro Bono Attorney of the Year, and served as the Chairperson of the Pro Bono Committee in 2008. Marci is a frequent presenter on the topics of estate planning and estate and gift tax.

Marci comes from a family of attorneys; her late father, brother and sister-in-law have all practiced law in Peoria. Marci is married to Ryan, and they have two children. The family currently has their hands full with a new rescue puppy, Quail.

Marci is involved in her community as the Chairperson of the Peoria Riverfront Museum Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors at Better Banks and a sustaining member of the Junior League of Peoria. Ryan has a family manufacturing business in Metamora and mentors the Metamora High School Robotics Team.

Marci provides a variety of legal services to individuals and businesses.
